A lightweight, non-wired, non-padded full cup bra in organic Pima cotton and silk. The silk lining forms the pockets, so only silk touches your skin. Add a breast form or insert, or wear it without one as an everyday bra. Individual cup sizes 30B to 40G.
Who it's for:
- Everyday wear: anyone who wants a soft, non-wired full cup bra with coverage and support
- After mastectomy, lumpectomy, reconstruction or risk-reducing surgery, once your surgical team says you're ready for an everyday bra
- Between reconstruction stages or after implant removal
- Breast asymmetry, from birth or after breastfeeding, weight change or surgery
- Anyone who wears breast forms or inserts, including trans women and non-binary people
- Sensitive skin: eczema, psoriasis, allergies, nickel allergy, heat rash, or skin affected by cancer treatment
Fabric:
- 78% organic Pima cotton, 22% silk
- Cup lining and gusset: 100% mulberry silk
- No polyester, nylon, elastane or foam against the skin
Features:
- Silk lining forms the pocket, so your form or insert never touches your skin
- Use one pocket, both or none. Empty pockets lie flat and don't show
- Non-padded, non-wired, lightweight, with support from the seamed cup and cradle
- Full cup coverage
- Delicate lace on the cups
- Cotton-covered elastics, plastic strap sliders, no metal on the skin
- Tagless heat-transfer label
- Adjustable straps, wide soft underband, back hook and eye
Frequently asked questions:
- Do I need a breast form? No. The pockets are optional.
- Is it padded? No. Any extra shape comes from the insert you add.
- What fits in the pockets? Full or partial breast forms, leisure forms, and asymmetry or shaping inserts.
- Is it a mastectomy bra? Yes, and it works just as well as an everyday bra.
- When can I wear it after surgery? When your surgical team says you can move to an everyday bra. It fastens at the back, so if lifting your arms is difficult, a front-fastening bra may be easier at first.
- Is it good for sensitive skin? Only organic cotton and mulberry silk touch the skin. JulieMay is accredited by Allergy UK.
- What size? Try it with your insert in the pocket. Free video fittings are available.
Care:
- Hand wash, or machine wash at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle in a lingerie bag
- Do not tumble dry. Reshape and dry flat away from heat
